The location of Brockley Hall is superb, just a short stroll to the beach. Our Classic Double Room was quirky, with an interesting decor that caught my eye. The shower worked perfectly, and the bed proved comfortable for a restful night. The receptionist greeted us with warmth, setting a pleasant tone for our stay. Unfortunately, I found the breakfast experience lacking. Service was so slow we left before we could even get our toast. The vegan sausages tasted off, and the overall breakfast lacked flavor. The room cleanliness left something to be desired, with dust found in several spots. Upon entering, the room felt too hot. we had to adjust the radiators ourselves. These inconveniences somewhat overshadowed the positives of our stay.

The staff provided exceptional service, with the receptionist going above and beyond to assist us during a busy cycling event. Dinner in the restaurant was impressive, with well-priced, delightful options, including refreshing light salads. parking was a struggle due to the event, and more guidance would have been helpful.

Delightful Dining Experience
What an enjoyable stay! The sirloin beef with Yorkshire pudding stood out, and the sticky toffee pudding truly delighted my sweet tooth. Don't rush the main course and take time to savor the flavors. Consider treating yourself to breakfast. the Yorkshire breakfast is fantastic!

This hotel features great staff and a lovely ambience but had a few issues like a sunken bed in our room that hindered sleep. The food was excellent, but the broken bed was disappointing. it’s a charming place worth revisiting despite minor setbacks.
